Acne Vulgaris

21- Male- Caucasian- Student- No specific medical history

history of acne on his face, chest, and back for the past 3 years. His symptoms began in his late teenage years and have progressively worsened, especially on his face. He reports that his acne is most noticeable around the cheeks, forehead, and chin, and he has developed scarring in some areas. The patient also complains of increased oiliness of the skin.

Persistent acne lesions (pimples, blackheads, and cysts) on the face, chest, and back. • Oily skin, especially during the afternoon. • Scarring (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) from previous acne outbreaks. • No significant discomfort or pain, though cystic lesions are occasionally tender. • No associated symptoms such as fever or systemic illness.

Face comedones Open and closed on the forehead and cheeks and chin. Papules and pustules across the T- zone, Nodules and cysts on the jawline and neck - Hyper pigmentation - Chest and back Blackhead + Pustules
